How does Structured Agency boost revenue with Integrated Marketing?

We help ecommerce brands boost revenue through a fully integrated marketing approach that connects paid media, email and SMS marketing, creative, and financial analysis into one cohesive system.
Paid media drives traffic, awareness, and new customers, while Retention converts, nurtures, and increases lifetime value. We approach both channels with an integrated strategy that complements and compounds performance over time, creating a growth engine that continually amplifies results.
Our lifecycle marketing framework moves prospects and customers from first purchase to repeat and through lifetime value to loyalty, increasing retention and profitability while reducing dependence on paid acquisition.
By combining first-party data, segmentation, and behavior-based automation, we deliver personalized marketing that drives measurable growth - not just clicks or impressions.
You can expect higher ROI, stronger margins, and sustainable revenue growth across every channel.
What is conversion rate optimization, why is it important & what is a good conversion rate?

Conversion rate optimization is focused on improving your website’s performance for every visitor that comes to your site.
When you are investing in paid media and lifecycle marketing the more efficient your site can perform, the more revenue you can make with each effort you are focused on. A very general rule of thumb is we’d like to see your add to cart conversion rate at 5% or higher and the conversion rate should at a minimum, be 2.5%
What makes a good paid media management service?

The Paid Media space has become crowded with everyone being experts in Paid Media despite their training and experience. While media buying or setting up ads is a critical component to Paid Media management, it goes much further than that. Understanding how each platform works from a technical and algorithmic perspective is a requirement. You must also know how each platform works together to help your brand achieve your goals is critical for a strong paid media agency.
Additionally, understanding your brands business goals and laddering those goals back to the paid media efforts is a must now-a-day. Finally, creative has quickly become the cornerstone of all strong Paid Media programs and without a strong understanding of creative strategy & how the platforms work you will not be able to find long term success.
What are best practices for SMS marketing?

SMS is one of the most direct and high-converting channels in ecommerce, but effectiveness comes down to strategy, not volume. The best SMS programs balance timing, relevance, and respect for the customer experience.
Start by building your list through clear, compliant opt-ins and segmenting subscribers based on behavior, purchase history, and engagement. Avoid blanket sends; instead, deliver personalized, intent-driven messages that meet customers where they are in the lifecycle.
Your cadence should feel helpful, not intrusive. Use automation for high-impact moments (welcome, abandoned cart, post-purchase, and winback) and complement these with occasional campaigns tied to key promotions or launches.
Keep copy short, conversational, and value-focused. Every message should have a clear purpose and call-to-action. Test timing, frequency, and incentive types to find your brand’s optimal engagement rhythm.
Most importantly, integrate SMS with email and other retention channels to maintain a consistent brand voice and ensure each touchpoint reinforces the next.
Done right, SMS isn’t just a conversion tool, it’s a relationship driver that deepens loyalty, boosts retention, and increases customer lifetime value.
Why should I use an agency for email marketing when I can hire someone to do the work?

Hiring an in-house email marketer can cover execution, but scaling revenue through email requires far more than sending campaigns. An agency brings strategic depth, creative expertise, and performance data that a single hire can’t match.
At Structured, every email strategy is built around the customer lifecycle — from acquisition to repeat purchase to retention. That means your campaigns, automations, and segmentation all work together to drive measurable growth, not just engagement.
You also gain access to specialized experts across copy, design, deliverability, analytics, and SMS — skills that would require multiple full-time hires to replicate. Our team continuously tests, optimizes, and benchmarks performance across dozens of ecommerce brands, giving you insights no single in-house hire could access.
An agency doesn’t just execute…it integrates email into your full marketing ecosystem, aligning with paid, creative, and retention efforts to boost revenue, increase lifetime value, and improve ROI.
In short, hiring one person gives you capacity. Partnering with an agency gives you a strategy, a system, and a team built to drive growth.

What is the benefit of using a single agency for all of my marketing needs?

The main benefit is a single team collaborating on your brands weekly to determine how to close the loop on major initiatives. For example, if you are testing a new Paid Media offer where you send customers a free sample to eventually get them to subscribe to a full-size option, it’s critical the marketing after that purchase is set up properly. You’d want to have an email flow setup with the intention of getting trial users on your subscription to make sure your Paid Media purchase was not wasted. Outside of strategic benefits, you will also be assigned the same copywriters and designer across all service lines you work on which will lead to less edits and a team that really understands and supports your brand.
What are your contract terms as an agency?

At Structured, we pride ourselves on being flexible and doing what’s best for our clients. Our default contract terms are 60 days when you sign and move to month-to-month after that initial period.
Who are the founders of Structured Agency?

Structured was founded in 2017 by Nick Shackelford and Jake Schmidt. They were the number one sellers of fidget spinners and were looking for help scaling their business. Turning to a Google ad agency for help, they were unable to find incremental performance.
At this point, they decided they could run their ads better. Once they figured out how to buy media, they then decided to start the agency with the focus of doing right by clients and making large changes that would positively affect the growth of the business.
Since then, they have expanded the agency from being Paid Media focused to also offering Email/SMS, CRO, UGC Services and AI Ads and SEO.
